  1. I once dated a guy who paid R10000 instalment for a Ford Ranger and he was always broke, his card declined 2 days after pay day at Pizza Hut and I knew i was not ready for that.

  2. Openness to the level of Finances in marriage its a MUST.

When we met he wasn't working. When he got the job we earned the same with time and change at my work I earned more.

Then we were on and off, complaining about everything.

Long story short we parted ways cause our fiance's was in shambles…

  3. Mdu references interesting points mentioned in the book I'm currently ready by Dr Myles Munroe – Understanding the PURPORSE and POWER of MEN. As men and women, but men in particular, we need to re-evaluate our roles on purpose within marriage and relationships. Men and women used to exist in different spheres. A man's sphere was work and survival. The woman's world was the home and children. There was no confusion of roles. They knew exactly where they were supposed to be.

A woman leaving the home and entering the workplace means that the home is no longer kept by her specifically. The man isn't sure what his job in the home is, and the woman isn't sure what her job in the home is. There's confusion.

Our fathers used to bring home the bacon, but now our women are bringing home the not only the bacon but the whole pig 😂. Besides that, she owned 2 pigs before she even got married to you 🤣🤣. So the question is, as Mdu rightfully asks – if both the man and the woman are both bringing home the bacon, who's the provider?

  4. Men definitely have to redefine themselves and their roles for this generation and generations to come instead of trying to force women to live like their elders before them!!!

  5. Noooh guys advisers voice 🤭 what??? Is it real?? But honestly guys I feel like this guy just wants to hide things. So glad my fiancé doesn't have that state of mind. We spoke about it and agreed that we'd use one account and that's how it will be. Case closed. He'll get a cash allowance and I get a cash allowance budgeted for & all. Everything else is to leave a paper trail. Yes we trust each other but trust also means transparency. Just be transparent.

  6. Is Mduduzi Hungani's brother in law? I think I saw then on a hiking video and also another with his pregnant wife. If not then hayi they kinda look alike have that accent

  7. Prayer and honesty is very important in marriage if you want an open relationship or polygamy tell the person when you ask them out ,be honest to them rather lose that 1 because she is not your one and find your one she is out there.Infidelity is disgusting and it's hurtful and ruins so many lives and relationship and you can lose all your money and never have what you had financially forever ,you can lose your kids .Why cheat when you can have a happy polygomous marriage a happy polygomous family .A Happy open relationship it all starts in the beginning Madoda ibani Honest menishela .I also don't like dishonest cheating women don't abuse our brothers .

  8. I honestly understand the guy who say “allow me to have my independence” it doesn’t mean when you don’t have a joint bank account then the marriage won’t work

  9. My husband and I wanted to have a joint account but it really didn’t work, I have 6 streams of income, he also has. Money doesn’t come in in one day. I think it works better with people who have just one income. It’s really not a bad idea afterall
